Hem–Sarita Pathak Foundation Welcomes Interim Government
The Hem–Sarita Pathak Foundation has welcomed the recently formed interim government. At a special gathering held in Anamnagar, the foundation remarked that the interim government was the result of Generation Z’s movement against corruption, malpractice, irregularities, and nepotism, calling it a historic achievement.
The gathering paid tribute to the protesters who were martyred during the movement and demanded free medical treatment for the injured. It also concluded that those responsible for killing children during the protests should face murder charges, the victims should be officially declared martyrs, and appropriate compensation should be provided.
The foundation described the dissolution of parliament as a positive step and emphasized the need to dissolve and restructure constitutional bodies. It further suggested that the assets of all public officials who have held office since 2046 B.S. should be investigated, and any wealth acquired through corruption should be seized and invested in education and healthcare.
Additionally, the foundation demanded that only fearless, untainted, and anti-corruption individuals be given responsibilities in the future cabinet, that the judiciary be restructured with judges appointed through elections, and that 500- and 1,000-rupee banknotes be immediately banned.
